Percussion Tutor

Will started studying Percussion at Chetham’s School of Music and then went on to study a performance degree at the Royal College of Music as a Timpanist and Percussionist. In his final year he took part in the LSO Percussion Academy and joined the Britten Pears Orchestra conducted by Marin Alsop.

Since graduating in 2017, Will has been enjoying a varied career working as a Drummer, Timpanist and Percussionist with a number of ensembles. Most notably, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Sinfonia Cymru, Motown the Musical, Box9 Drumline, Nation Youth Jazz Orchestra, the Pro Youth Philharmonia, and the Firebird Orchestra.

As a Drummer, Will has worked on many productions including ‘Into The Woods’ ‘My fair Lady’ and ‘Wizard of Oz’ and also regularly works with the Henry Desmond Show Band. Will has also been working as a music educator giving instrumental lessons, orchestral coaching, and delivering percussion workshops alongside Hertfordshire Music Service, English Schools' Orchestra, Surrey Arts, Bromley Youth Music Trust, and Lingfield College.
